CoreConnecting

In ancient times, say 2500 years ago or so, humans more readily connected to a vast information network that included all forms of life. Animals, nature, and humans interacted through a type of perception that used “knowing”, or intuition, or spirit, to connect. In combination with this “knowing”, we used our 5 physical senses, grounded in time, to keep our bodies well, to navigate our environment, and to communicate with language. Over time, as we grew more exclusively reliant on and gave higher value to our 5 physical senses, our connection to that vast universe of “knowing” began to fade. This is not because that connection is lost; what’s more likely is that most of us have stopped trusting what we perceive that is not verifiable with our 5 senses.

Every human is wired to connect in both ways: with “knowing” and with physical, time-based senses. Humans function at our highest level when these ways of being are in balance with one another.  Too much “knowing” and we cannot function in this world; too much dependence on physical “reality”, and we lose touch with our purpose, our inner guidance, our soul.

With CoreConnecting, we re-train ourselves to listen to and trust our “knowing”, our inner voice and guidance. How? With tools (and practice) to re-ignite our CoreConnecting dormant skills.

CoreConnecting is best described as an active meditation technique. It has its roots in ancient North and South American dreaming techniques. When learning CoreConnecting, it is most effective to practice in small groups.  The energy that is created when practicing together helps accelerate everyone’s progress.

In CoreConnecting, we do not just empty our minds or listen; we purposefully shift our perception out of the mind and into the body. We do this so we can engage the part of us that perceives with something other than the 5 physical senses. Sometimes we use CoreConnecting to find old beliefs that block access to our “knowing”, and sometimes we use CoreConnecting to probe deeper into our creativity, our purpose, and our dreams.  As we practice, we re-establish the skill necessary to hear our “knowing”, and to trust it. In the end, the purpose of CoreConnecting is to enhance our ability to know our heart, to trust our wisdom, to own our truth, and walk our path.

Here’s a quick check list to see if you might find CoreConnecting helpful:

  • Do you sense that you have a greater purpose than you can articulate, and want to know what that purpose is?
  • Do you feel stuck, and need a jump-start to move forward?
  • Do you have an on again-off again connection to your intuition, and want to focus and strengthen this ability?
  • Do you want to assemble a kit of tools to increase your connection to your “knowing”?
